EAG visitor distribution stretches from Edinburgh to Essex

Analysis of the distribution of UK visitors attending EAG 2022 confirms the appeal of the expo which attracts operators from Edinburgh to Essex. The breakdown shows that 24 percent of 2022 visitors were from the Greater London area, a further 15 percent from the South East with the remaining 61 percent making the journey to the ExCeL Exhibition Centre from the rest of the UK.

Announcing the visitor stats, EAG Chairman Martin Burlin said: “These figures demonstrate the appeal of EAG and the opportunity it provides exhibitors to reach operators from throughout the country and at a single event. The industry really comes into its own when all sectors of the business, from all parts of the country meet and talk product. This has been the case throughout the history of EAG and its predecessor ATEI. Exhibitors are also going on the record to confirm that they want a prestigious event where they can make important product launches and represent their brands in a professional environment. EAG ticks those boxes and delivers the best possible opportunity to engage with serious buyers.”

Registration is showing double digit growth on the like-for-like figures for 2020 with the 2023 show shaping up to be one of the biggest on-record.
