Bacta has launched its new Self-Exclusion portal at this week’s EAG show, which will deliver vital services, quickly and conveniently via mobile devices.
Visitors to the Bacta lounge at London’s ExCeL centre were able to try out the new portal, with staff members on hand to demonstrate the self-exclusion journey on a test site, by way of a tablet.
The trade association’s plan is to develop the portal meet all members’ social responsibility, compliance and training needs. There will be a wide range of online tools to facilitate messaging, data sharing and customer interaction, to name but a few features, which will enable members to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
“The Portal essentially uses mobile devices (a tablet) to deliver Bacta’s services and is a toolbox, where members can find everything they need. We start with an upgraded self-exclusion system and will then include customer interaction and other logs, a crime alert, ADR, out toolkits and staff management tools,” explained Simon Bradbury, Bacta’s Head of Social Responsibility & Compliance.
“Bacta currently provides its self-exclusion system for over 90 percent of UK arcade operators and this Portal marks an important advance in the delivery of bacta’s impressive range of member services. It will help members use the digital tools of the digital age to support their businesses and their customers,” noted Bacta Chief Executive John White
