3,500+ products with over 1,000 making their UK trade show debut is the enticing prospect in store for visitors to EAG’24

The central importance of EAG Expo to the business prospects of thousands of amusements operators has been put into sharp focus following a programme of exhibitor research undertaken by organisers of the bacta-owned leading business-to-business event.

According to the research which was completed two weeks prior to EAG welcoming the amusements and low-stake gaming industry to ExCeL London (16th – 18th January) operators wanting to prepare their business for the challenges and opportunities of 2024 will have access to a total of 3,513 products of which over a thousand (1,038) will be making their UK industry debut at EAG.

The research findings also reveal that exhibitors will be showing an average of 9 brands on their stands at EAG providing visitors with access to what in effect is the world of amusements and low-stake gaming.

Further findings from the research show that EAG exhibitors will be in upbeat mood when they welcome operators to the London Docklands venue, which thanks to the Elizabeth Line is now just a 20-minute uninterrupted train journey from Bond Street in London’s West End. Asked to rate their confidence levels 79 percent said they were either more confident or much more confident (16 percent) compared to this time 12-months ago.

EAG Chairman Martin Burlin believes the research findings give context to the size of the opportunity presented by EAG. He stated: “The findings are based on the responses provided by a large sample of our product-led exhibitors. The sheer volume of products and perhaps most significantly the number that will be making their industry debut at EAG confirms the show’s status as the industry’s shopwindow for innovation and an essential date for businesses seeking to hit the ground running.

“From a product perspective alone EAG represents a ‘must attend’ for the sector particularly as the industry anticipates enactment of the proposals contained within the White Paper. ‘The Year Starts Here’ theme which we’ve been using in support of EAG Expo ’24 could not be more appropriate.”

As well as having access to the latest products and innovations the 4,000+ operators from sectors including FECs, AGCs, seaside piers, leisure attractions, bingo halls, bars, clubs, and bowling centres expected to attend the 2024 edition of EAG, Expo will be able to keep up with developments impacting social responsibility, celebrate bacta’s 50th year, mark industry excellence at the bacta Annual Awards, as well as participate in bacta’s business-centric thinkbite learning programme. Delivering the perfect combination of product, networking and learning, EAG 2024 represents the industry’s ‘go to’ event.
