Industry invited to visit Rays of Sunshine on the bacta stand at ACOS

Rays of Sunshine, bacta’s nominated charity will be present on the bacta stand at ACOS
The charity, which grants wishes to seriously ill children and their families, will be represented by Viviane Albert, who will be happy to discuss the work of the charity and how industry members can support it. Bacta members have taken Rays of Sunshine to their hearts and have raised more than half a million pounds to help it to continue its outstanding work.
Reaching out to bacta members, the association’s chief executive John White wrote: “Those members attending ACOS are invited to drop by the bacta stand, say hello to the Rays of Sunshine team and make a donation to their fabulous work providing wishes to seriously ill children. All visitors need to do is click on the QR Code on display on the stand to make a contribution.”
Mark Horwood of United Distributing Company and Steve Hawkins of SX Leisure have already pledged donations ahead of the ACOS show.
Karen Cooke, Director of Swan Events, ACOS organiser, says, “We are really pleased that Viviane will be able to join us next week at ACOS. The work of the Charitable Trust and Rays of Sunshine is extremely important to our industry and we urge visitors to find out more about how they can support this important cause.”
Steve Hawkins, Chairman of the bacta Charitable Trust stated: “I look forward to kickstarting our fundraising efforts once more, following the hugely successful bacta Charity Ball back in June. Please do visit the bacta stand and come and say hello and find out more about how you can do your bit to help this incredible charity.”
