Dear Member
COVID-19 UPDATE
- Government has agreed to extend the eviction ban for commercial businesses to next March. It was due to run out at the end of the month. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/business-evictions-ban-extended-until-march?utm_source=02251f10-74cf-4654-bec2-ddc364c14e65&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&utm_content=immediate
- STOP PRESS – The Scottish Government has at last agreed to again allow low level music to be played in pubs. The guidance is here and the change comes into effect on Saturday. https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-tourism-and-hospitality-sector-guidance/pages/background-music-and-sound/ Essentially, music can be played at an appropriate level based on a risk assessment.
Kind regards,
John
