Social Responsibility


Social Responsibility is at the heart of bacta.  Some of the products our members operate are gaming machines and with that comes an obligation to do all we can to prevent problem gambling.  Bacta unequivocally accepts that responsibility.

Bacta therefore has in place a comprehensive set of tools to help members do this.  Our toolkits provide detailed background, template forms and guidance from members.

We conduct training with all our members via our dedicated Social Responsibility and Compliance team who also conduct annual audits of our members.

We have set up and independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service.

We require all our members to undertake age verification testing to ensure policies and procedures are in place and effective in preventing under-18 year olds accessing premises and products they are not allowed to.

We operate a nationwide Self-Exclusion scheme that allows any customer who may wish to, to exclude themselves for a minimum period of six months from all Adult Gaming Centres in a particular location.
