EAG organisers target international growth at IAAPA Expo Europe

An EAG team led by Show Director Nicola Lazenby was out in force at last week’s IAAPA Expo Europe promoting the London show to an international audience of 17,000 visitors and 680 exhibitors.

Expanding on the purpose of the visit and the response from the market, Nicola Lazenby said: “This was the biggest ever edition of IAPPA Europe and a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with our own community of exhibitors who attended the show which was held at the RAI Amsterdam but also to make the connections that will help us to build EAG and re-establish the show’s international credentials.”

She continued: “EAG 2025 will be the biggest edition of the show since it launched at ExCeL London in 2010 and the industry personalities that we met with were excited by our vision for growth and at the prospects of participating in what is the only trade show that brings together the worlds of amusements, bingo, gaming and competitive/social entertainment together under one roof.

“Our objectives are to attract more international visitors and exhibitors to London and the reception that we received at both our pre-arranged as well as our ad-hoc meetings was highly positive.

“We are in the process of following-up on those contacts, making elevated pitches to the decision makers and doing all of the necessary ground-work to add to the appeal of the EAG show floor.”

Looking ahead to January’s show Chairman Martin Burlin said: “The visit to IAAPA Expo Europe kicked-off an expansive campaign in support of EAG 2025 which will also comprise advertising in international b2b media, editorial news and feature content, e-shots and collaborative partnerships with the relevant international trade associations and strategic bodies.

“With the addition of the Social Immersive Entertainment Expo and the London Casino and Gaming Show we have responded to industry requests for a rounded out of home entertainment experience. EAG 2025 will provide international operators with an exciting window on the future of all aspects of our industry.”
