Wales will lockdown from 6pm on Friday. This is another blow to our members & we are concerned they will receive the proper support, as some were denied rates relief previously. A resilience fund of £300m is available for retail, leisure & hospitality. http://ow.ly/JZb750BXe95

It is scandalous that Adult Gaming Centres and Betting Shops have been included in the list of premises to be shut in Tier 3 lockdown. They do not have alcohol licences and are COVID-safe. The only conclusion that can be drawn is that this is an anti-gambling bias within Govt.

The Scottish Govt. has found £40m to help businesses cope with further restrictions announced last week. It recognises the impact on the supply chain with grants of up to £1,500 however this is a drop in the ocean for our Div 2 and 4 members. Details here
