Dear Member
COVID-19 UPDATE STOP PRESS
NHS England has now published advice on Track and Trace. As mentioned in yesterday’s email, the way you collect customer information is down to you. A name and contact telephone number is required as is date of visit.
A customer who refuses, cannot be forced to provide the information and neither are you required to refuse them entry. There is a helpful FAQ attached along with a Guidance note.
You can access the press release here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/public-asked-to-leave-a-name-and-number-with-venues-to-help-stop-the-spread-of-covid-19?utm_source=6b0e6ce0-c3a5-43bc-acea-b586a9518cda&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=govuk-notifications&utm_content=immediate
I have been sent details of a seemingly free track and trace service. I haven’t had a chance to evaluate it, but if any one does use it I’d appreciate the feedback. https://sproutsend.com/covid-checkin/
Kind regards
John
