Dear Member.

During the current crisis, bacta’s normal schedule of meetings has been disrupted. We had to cancel the last National Council for example.  

We have nevertheless been able to hold two very successful Zoom meetings for Divisions 1 and 3 as well as a range of smaller bacta meetings including the bacta Covid-19 crisis group.

 

We are proposing to hold the next round of Divisional meetings and National Council via Zoom, and to bring them forward by a few weeks from their scheduled date.

 

I wanted to let all members know the dates of those meetings and to invite all members who wish to do so, to join their relevant divisional committee meeting to observe and contribute to the discussions. (Note: should there be a vote for any reason this would be for committee members only).  I will send out agendas in the next week or so, but safe to say, the main topic of conversation will be the lobbying efforts of bacta to get the industry working again.

 

Division 1 Committee will meet at 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday 27th May

Division 3  Committee will meet at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday 27th May

Divisions 2 and 4 Committees will meet at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday 28th May

 

National Council will meet at 11.00a.m. Wednesday 10th June

 

When we write to you with the agenda for the meetings we will invite you to reply to Theresa to register yourself for the call.  She will then send you the link and password.

 

In the meantime, please put these dates in your diary and if you do have any questions then please do not hesitate to call.
